Participation of Kyriazis Rekos in 18th ICC
On 14-19th July 2024, Kyriazis Rekos, PhD student at Prof. Triantafyllidis’s group participated in the 18thInternational Congress on Catalytics which was held in Lyon, France. Kyriazis Rekos, PhD student, presented a poster entitled “Catalytic hydrogenation of glucose to sorbitol over supported Pt and Ru catalysts – Optimization at gram and kilogram scale”. The work focused on the lab scale hydrogenation of glucose to sorbitol and the pilot scale production of sorbitol under the optimized conditions.
