Participation of Kyriazis Rekos in 17th PSK
On 8-10th October 2024, Kyriazis Rekos, PhD student at Prof. Triantafyllidis’s group participated in the 17thPanhellenic Symposium on Catalysis, held in Paphos, Cyprus. Kyriazis gave an oral presentation entitled “Optimization and upscale catalytic hydrogenation of biomass-derived glucose rich streams to sugar alcohols”. The work focused on the lab scale optimization of glucose rich streams hydrogenation, as well as the upscale production of sugar alcohols, a collaboration with Luleå University of Technology, Sweden within BIOMAC project (European Union, Horizon 2020, No. 952941,
